One on One Tuition
The Beat Shack offers one on one tuition in drum kit, percussion and guitar. Michael has been honing his skills as a music teacher for more than two decades. He is able to break things down well for complete beginners, as well as provide the right level of challenge regardless of someone’s experience. These lessons can be located at the well known drumming house in North Fremantle or at your place.

Learning by ear
Michael likes to teach with a variety of methods, but treats music primarily as something that is best learnt by ear. Written notes and visual aids can be provided upon request but at the Beat Shack, people are encouraged to get in the zone, learn how to listen, jam and be as creative as possible.
